How to Choose a Good Limo Service

When looking around for a good limo service there are a few things to consider:

NOTE:   If you are simply looking for the absolute lowest price you can find, then please read the following tips, as price is important, but if you make it everything then chances are you will be very, very unhappy!

1.  Study the website well.  Do they answer most of your questions and give you great insight into your plans?
(a website should give you a greater understanding of what they offer and a good feel for the limo company you are dealing with.)

2.  When you call the limo service, do they answer the phone or does it ring and ring and then go to voice mail?
(many limo companies do business from their cars.  Don't you want an office to speak to you?  You also want the person you are speaking with to speak English well so that you don't have mis-communications with them.)

3.  See their testimonials and or their BLOG for other information showing what kind of limo company they are.
(it is amazing what you can gather about a company through their own information, get a good feel about them)

4.  When looking at a limo company's credentials, check with BBB.

5.  Read limo reviews in local listings, although be careful if they have a lot of reviews and all are positive, more than likely they have had people they know enter false reviews.  No matter how hard you try, there is going to be at least someone that the limo company could not make happy, that is just human nature.

6.  Ask about the year of the vehicle and or pictures if not on the website.

7.  Ask about licensing.

8.  Make sure you get a limo contract.  A contract is a binding agreement and it binds both of you to performing what is contracted.  Should they default, then you have something to come back with.  If you simply call in and they shoot you an email saying you are confirmed, then be suspect.

With no contract that is signed, they can show up or not and you have no recourse.  Many companies would like to tie you up without a limo contract and if they get a better limo ride, they will cancel and say they are overbooked.

9.  Rates are important.  After you evaluate everything you can, then look at pricing.  Take out the obvious high quotes, but consider all the rest in your quest.

Remember, one of the best attributes to look for is an intelligent  & confident person on the other end of the phone and one that you can understand clearly.

We hope this helps define what you should be looking for in a good limo company!
